We operate year round.  We feel the best time to fish is when you can come down.  
However, the best time is generally May through February.  The slowest months are March
through April, but even these months can produce great fishing. In summer the fishing is
great, but it is hot and the heat can be tough.  
If the Mississippi River is low in the summer, the fishing in Venice can be phenomenal.

Licenses
You will have to obtain a fishing license and we will help you do so.  
The license needed is a three day non resident charter pass($5) for non residents
only.  Louisiana residents will need a combination fresh and salt water license.
Licenses can be obtained through the Louisiana Dept of Wildlife and Fisheries website

or by phone at 888-765-2602(as of late phone is quicker).  You will need my guide license
number to obtain a license.  It will be provided to you once a deposit is received.

To book a date you:
  • Contact Us and inquire about specific date(s)

  • Send us a deposit of $100 per date(s) you want to book

  • The date(s) are not booked until the deposit is received

  • The balance of the trip will be paid upon completion of trip

  • Refunds of deposits are available up to two weeks prior to the trip, or if bad weather or
    national disaster causes cancellation.  

Charter Rates
Rates are for the boat whether one or two persons and are as follows:
Full day (8 hours)  $450          Half day (4 hours) $350
Times are from time leaving & returning to dock
**Trophy trips for Bull Reds and other species are $500.
